这是一部大杂烩式的影像作品，大量的视频素材来自身边的朋友以及网络征集，贯穿三组风格化的独白和对话，用“女孩”“美好”“凝视”三个主题，组成“我所看见的”女孩们的生活集锦。 短片的征集影像部分，包含了三十多个女孩的视频素材。她们中有一些是我熟悉的朋友，有一些是至今仍然陌生的投稿网友。这也是一部完全由女孩们完成的影像作品，从筹备、内容、拍摄、到后期，全部由我和我身边的女性完成。 这些女孩们的生活画面，对我来说很熟悉，对你来说或许很陌生。所以，即使是以他人素材堆砌起来的作品，仍然是私人化的表达。我们的世界就是如此美好而狭隘。 我只能去凝视我所看见的，在目之所及的地方。 当你凝视美好，美好也在凝视你。 感谢我所看见的女孩： JOJO/张頔/小乞丐/Katie/Charls/郭欣源/张璐/罗珊/茶煲/郑好梦/灯灯/赵子要/常兴/47/麻达/蔓蔓/狗老师/惠子/小睿/女巫/啸/楚辞/秋实/周初曦/凌岚/林子/阔落/生菜/陈心/释迦丘/表情不错的人/河流过我 Work Statement - Gaze: The Girls I See This is a collaborative visual work containing staged footage as well as collected short video. The collected videos were contributed from my friends and strangers online, which compose a hodgepodge picture of more than 30 girls’ daily lives via short videos. In between those videos runs three part of staged scenes, with which marks the three themes of this work: GIRLS / GOODNESS / GAZE. This is also a work done totally by girls. Works including collecting, scripting, staging, shooting, editing and such, were entirely done by myself and my female friends. Those videos of girls can be as familiar or strange to you as you like it. It is wonderful how a work composed of other people’s materials can be this personal still. We can only see the part of the world where we choose to see. When you gaze into goodness, goodness gaze also into you.
